JetSeeker Limited was established in 2004 by Lindsay Munro. Lindsay has been involved in Jet boating for 25 years and was a founding executive member of the New Zealand Commercial Jet Boat Association. Resigning in 2004 on the sale of his Commercial Jet Boat operation. Lindsay was also on a working panel set up by Maritime New Zealand dealing with the rules regarding the Commercial Jet Boating Industry. Lindsay is recognized by Maritime New Zealand Safety Auditor to carry out driver training and the formulation of Safe Operational plans. Lindsay has a full understanding of the issues effecting the Commercial jet Boat industry and the operators. From advice on how to identify your potential market through to operational procedures he has the experience.

Lindsay Munro History

1989 established Waimak Alpine Jet. This company started with one 4 seat boat and no client base.
2004 Waimak Alpine Jet sold. At this time three 22 seat Jet Boats operated carrying nearly 20,000 passengers annually. 2004 established JETSEEKER LIMITED

Gareth Munro Profile

Gareth has been around jet boats since he was born taking an active role in helping out at the river and workshop of the family business Waimak Alpine Jet. He has been driving Jet Boats since as long as his feet could reach the pedals.

Gareth has a passion for jet Boats and JetSeeker now produce hulls designed and built by Gareth. Although only young Gareth has accumulated a huge amount of knowledge from both building and fitting out boats but also through the good fortune of being taught by one of the leading Jet boat builders in New Zealand Muarice McDowell.

Muarice installed the principals of boat design and building in Gareth and with that base and now over 30 boats behind him he is producing quality work second to none.

Gareth believes in certain design needs in Jet Boats and these are evident in the Hulls he is now producing. A fresh approach is always positive in any situation and as you look over the range now being produced you will see some of them coming through.

Gareth is always available to discuss any boating requirements you may have or be contemplating for the future.

Whether it be Fuel tanks, seat frames, engine lids or anything alloy Gareth is able to help. With new plant throughout including a specifically designed and built Swaging machine good lines are assured.

Maurice McDowell is an active member of the JetSeeker team popping in frequently to lend a hand or check on progress.

With the combined experience of Gareth and Maurice 34 years boat building experience is amassed. Couple this to the general experience and driving knowledge of Lindsay and JetSeeker cover the field.
