Jetseeker
Jetseeker Limited was established in 2004 by Lindsay Munro. Lindsay has been involved in Jet Boating for 25 years and was a founding executive member of the New Zealand Commercial Jet Boat Association. Resigning in 2004 on the sale of his Commercial Jet Boat operation. Lindsay was also on a working panel set up by Maritime New Zealand dealing with the rules regarding the Commercial Jet Boating Industry. Lindsay is recognized by Maritime New Zealand Safety Auditor to carry out driver training and the formulation of Safe Operational plans. Lindsay has a full understanding of the issues effecting the Commercial jet Boat industry and the operators. From advice on how to identify your potential market through to operational procedures he has the experience.
Lindsay Munro History
In 1989 Lindsay established Waimak Alpine Jet. This company started with one 4 seat boat and no client base. In 2004 Waimak Alpine Jet sold. At this time three 22 seat Jet Boats operated carrying nearly 20,000 passengers annually.
In 2004 Lindsay established Jetseeker Limited.
Gareth joined Jetseeker in 2007 as the designer and builder of the Jetseeker hull range.
Gareth Munro Profile
Gareth has been around jet boats since he was born taking an active role in helping out at the river and workshop of the family business Waimak Alpine Jet. He has been driving Jet Boats since as long as his feet could reach the pedals.
Gareth has a passion for Jet Boats and Jetseeker now produce hulls designed and built by Gareth. Although only young Gareth has accumulated a huge amount of knowledge from both building and fitting out boats but also through the good fortune of being taught by one of the leading Jet Boat builders in New Zealand.
Gareth has s flair for design and this coupled with the knowledge of how and what makes a jet boat hull operate to its maximum performace under many variable conditions has resulted in the production of STALKER, RANGER, COMMANDER and CUSTOM HULLS with quality workmanship and finish second to none.
A fresh approach is always positive in any situation and as you look over the range now being produced you will see some of them coming through.

Whether it be fuel tanks, seat frames, engine lids or anything alloy Gareth is able to help. With new plant throughout including a specifically designed and built Swaging machine good lines are assured.
The JETSEEKER team headed by Gareth and Lindsay offer a vast experience base in Jet Boating. Jetseeker cover the field in anything Jet Boating. Gareth and his brother Andy are now RACING and have just completed the New Zealand Marathon 5th overall and 1st in A class.
